3 Tips to save time in the morning

Do you struggle for time in the morning? If so you probably either skip breakfast or grab something quick like a smoothie or protein shake.

Would you like to have an extra 5 mins in bed? Extra time to be with your children? Or just to get a head start on the morning traffic?

Try these time saving tips if making a breakfast smoothie is your preferred first meal of the day.

Tip 1:

Pre-prepare 5 smoothies in freezer bags or Tupperware boxes on a Sunday ready for the week ahead, the night before you need it take one of your pre-prepared packs, wiz it up and pop it in the fridge, in the morning its all ready to go, if you are stuck for ideas, we have some great recipes to download on our web site on the nutrition page. www.effectivefitnesshessle.co.uk/nutrition

Tip 2:

If you put fruit like bananas, apples etc to your protein drinks, to save time make your protein drink with whatever liquid you use (water, milk, almond milk etc) and just eat the fruit on the go, it will save a few mins in the kitchen.

Tip 3:

There is nothing worse than coming home to a dried, crusty mixer that has been left on the side all day so this is a cleaning tip, if you use a blender to make your delicious smoothies, a quick way to clean your mixer is half – three quarters fill it with hot water and a drop of washing up liquid and wiz it for a few mins until its clean, rinse with clean water and its ready for your next delicious breakfast smoothie.
