When it comes to training, it’s important to choose a routine that suits your lifestyle. At Effective Fitness, we offer a tailored approach. We get to know you, what you want to achieve and provide the right solution.

From personal training, to small group classes and membership packages, there are a number of options to choose from. We also offer fixed-term programmes, such as our Fit in 5 and semi-private personal training sessions, which provide an intense, bespoke training plan.

We will find the best and most effective training programme for you. We will teach you the basics and inspire you to push yourself – all we ask in return is dedication, hard work and consistency.

Personal training

Want to take your training to the next level? Or need some support to get your training started? With more than 20 years’ experience in the fitness industry and a wealth of training expertise, Effective Fitness’ owner John Rodgers offers one-on-one personal training sessions, which are guaranteed to get results.

John will talk through your goals, lifestyle and nutrition, before carrying out a biomechanical assessment to gauge movement and ability. He will then develop a customised plan, tailored to your needs, which will be adapted as you progress.

Personal training sessions are held in Effective Fitness’s multi-purpose gym, incorporating a wide range of equipment and facilities.

Fit in 5

Fancy five weeks of training to get you in shape – for free? Our fantastic Fit in 5 programme involves two training sessions a week (for five weeks), alongside a customised nutrition plan. We set a realistic goal and, if you reach it, we give you your money back. The affordable programme is £69 for the five weeks. To achieve your goal, you must attend all your training sessions, keep a food diary and stick to the nutrition plan set by your dedicated coach. Sessions are held: Monday, 10:00am and 6:45pm Tuesday, 6:30pm Wednesday, 10:00am Thursday, 6:30pm Friday, 10:00am and 6:30pm

Semi-private personal training

Our semi-private personal training sessions are guaranteed to get results. They bring together the bespoke approach of personal training, with the social and motivational feel of group classes. This affordable programme is £99 a month and includes three personal training sessions a week with your dedicated coach, along with a customised nutrition plan, with meals mapped out for you every week. Workouts include weight training, cardio, HIIT, boxing, TRX and kettlebells, to ensure you get the best results. Each month, you will also receive a body composition assessment to keep you motivated and a step closer to your goals, as well as email, text and phone support from your personal coach. Sessions are held: Monday, 6:00am and 7:30pm Tuesday, 6:00am, 10:00am and 7:15pm Wednesday, 7:45pm and 8:30pm Thursday, 6:45am 10:00am and 7:15pm Friday, 6:45am and 7:15pm Sunday, 9:30am
